We're a small family-run dealership in West Bridgford, selling cars we'd be happy to drive ourselves.
Our story
Trent Valley Motors is a family-run business, and the idea behind it is a simple one: buy good cars, prepare them properly, price them fairly, and treat people the way you'd want to be treated yourself.
We're deliberately small. There's no sales floor, no targets, and nobody working on commission — which means nobody here has any reason to push you into a car that isn't right for you. If we haven't got what you're after, we'll say so, and quite often we'll go and find it for you instead.
Every car we sell is HPI checked, serviced, MOT'd and put through a proper mechanical inspection before it goes on the forecourt. Anything that needs doing gets done before it's advertised, not after you've complained about it.
Most of our customers come to us through word of mouth, and a good number of them are on their second or third car from us. That's the part we're proudest of.

We only stock what we would drive
Every car is inspected before we buy it, and if it doesn't meet the standard we walk away. That's why our forecourt is small — we'd rather have twenty cars we can stand behind than a hundred we can't.
The price is the price
No admin fees, no 'preparation charges', no mysterious extras that appear on the invoice. The figure on the windscreen is what you pay.
We are here afterwards
Most of our business comes from repeat customers and recommendations, which only works if we look after people once the car has left. If something goes wrong, pick up the phone.
